Last night ended with a long BBQ of some really good tenderloin. We sat around the campfire and eventually came to talk about the DuPont prototype for new chromatic fabric display systems. Dylan thought one should make a full suit out of the chromatic fabric, so you could choose to change the colour and patterning through software, and I thought you ought to wear a webcam on your back, and whatever the camera sees will be displayed on the front of your suit. This would make the whole thing double as a rudimentary cloaking device. So, as you can tell we are having a good time.
These next paragraphs are co-authored by myself and Jaana. Just to keep the record straight.
After a slow start of the day, we finally got around to play some kubb while Marty's little nephew Ethan was busy washing a hose off with another hose.
We then decided to go to Santa Barbara for lunch and some shopping, and set off in the rental car. Half way there we found a great deal by the road: 10 avocados for 1$! Unfortunatley they were the size of golf balls, but we got 'em anyway.Santa Barbara is so beautiful, and would make another strong location for us to set ourselves up once our greencards eventually decide to come through. In my opinion, it has got some of the good qualities of Europe, without the downsides. I, Henrik, finally found some shoes that I liked, and at just 80 bucks too.
Dylan bought a whistle, which I am sure will lure all the hot chicks to his lair, Marty got himself a new hat, Jaana bought a 10 dollar top and Lotta got a Monopoly Surfers Edition boardgame.

We had some food at Chipotle grill, as per normal, excellent value and quality. I had corn tacos with beef and greenpepper sauce, and of course Jaana had a veggie Burrito.
We took highway 1 back down along the coast, and right now the jury is out on wether I will go for the bonfire or the jacuzzi tonight. My passive income stream is increasing beautifully, and it is very nice to log on and see money being made for me while I am having fun, so if we have some skill and good fortune, our semi-retirement will be on as planned within 5 months now. If it works out, we will be *choosing* when we want to experience winter after this one!
Okay, tomorrow, I have no idea what we will be doing, but we're planning to go and practice zazen with Brad in Santa Monica on Saturday.
Bye for now, fellows.
