Ventura County

We spent the day in Santa Monica, chilling on the beach before heading out to Topanga Canyon to scout for our future home. It really is lovely out there. We went all the way up the road and took a stroll in Topanga State park before heading out to pick up our friends at LAX.

After we picked them up we drove out to Santa Paula and was amazingly recieved by Martys parents who treated us to a relaxing jacuzzi and a few cold ones on the patio.

The morning after we went for Mexican breakfast, which always is delicious. And filling.

We went to Ojai in the afternoon, and got what is probably the best "home cooked Italian food in a country setting" in CA. The place is set right in the middle of fragrant orange and citrus groves, and the service is fantastic. They were really happy to work with me on getting me the best possible gluten free experience. That does not usually happen in London.

In the evening we went over to one of Martys good friends and hung out in his awesome back yard for a few hours before going back home.

We're staying in a massive RV vehicle at the moment, with plenty of room for 6 people. We even have two TV's and a work desk in here on which I am writing this post.

This afternoon our old friend Dylan flew in from San Fancisco to hang out with us. We haven't seen each other in like 8 years, and its funny to see that none of us appears to have aged a day. But I can tell we're older as we're all talking about how to take care of our health rather than persuing it's destruction like we used to.

Right now we're parked out in Ventura, and we have been stocking up on grillables and will enjoy some outdoors chilling this evening.

What did I learn today? I learned that super strong ginger is good for you at all times.
